How much can DA increase

Earlier it was expected that the government may increase the dearness allowance by about 5 percent. But according to the data released by All India Consumer Price Index, this increase can be up to 6 percent instead of 5 percent.
Know when it can be announced
If this increase is approved by the government, then central employees and pensioners will get a big benefit. The government has kept the DA of the employees and pensioners on hold for about 18 months due to Corona. In such a situation, if the DA hike is announced on August 3, then in such a situation a huge amount can be deposited in the account of central employees.
How much DA do you get now
At present, the employees working under the central government are given the benefit of 34 percent dearness allowance by the government. From the year 2021, the government has increased the DA by a total of 11 percent. In March 2022 this year, the government had decided to increase the DA from 31 percent to 34 percent.
Now if once again the DA is increased by 5 percent, then it will increase to 39 percent. This will have a direct impact on 47 lakh employees and 68 lakh pensioners. In general, there has been a trend of increasing dearness allowance from 1st January and 1st July, in such a situation, in the month of July, central workers can get the gift of happiness.
