7th Pay Commission: There is great news for Central Government Employees. The government has recently increased the DA of the employees and in January once again the government will increase the dearness allowance. In the midst of inflation spreading across the country, there is a bumper increase in the salary of government employees. At present, employees are getting DA at the rate of 38 percent.

Maybe salary increment
In the midst of rising inflation, there is bound to be a good increase in the allowances of the employees. Dearness allowance for employees can bring salary increment in the coming time.

Dearness allowance will be 42 percent in January
Since July 2022, the employees are getting dearness allowance at the rate of 38 percent and it is believed that in January 2023 there will be an increase of 4 percent, after which there will be a bumper increase in the salary of the employees. After this increase, dearness allowance will increase to 42 percent.

DA will be zero on reaching 50%
The rule of dearness allowance is that when the government implemented the 7th Pay Commission in the year 2016, dearness allowance was reduced to zero at that time. According to the rules, as soon as the dearness allowance reaches 50 percent, it will be reduced to zero and according to 50 percent, the money which is being received by the employees in the form of allowance will be added to the basic salary i.e. minimum salary.

Salary will increase by Rs 9000
Let us tell you that if the basic salary of an employee is Rs 18000, then he will get 50 percent DA of Rs 9000. But, if there is 50 percent DA, adding it to the basic salary, the dearness allowance will again be reduced to zero.
