7th Pay Commission: Great news for pensioners! 356% increase in DR, know from when it will be implemented

7th Pay Commission: The government has given big relief in DR for the employees who retired between 18 November 1960 to 31 December 1985. Under this, it has been reduced from 312 percent to 356 percent. Department of Pension and Pensioners Welfare gave information.



New Delhi: 7th Pay Commission: There is good news for retired central employees. The Department of Pension and Pensioners’ Welfare has issued a memorandum on September 20 with big information. The DR of CPF beneficiaries who are alive has been increased from 312% to 356 percent (DR Hike). The benefit will be given to those who have retired between 18 November 1960 to 31 December 1985.

That is, before the festive season, pensioners have become bat-bats. With this, let us tell you that Revised DR (DR Hike) will be given to retired employees from July 1, 2021. From 1 January 2020, 1 July 2020, 1 January 2021, three installments of CPF beneficiaries were left.





Decision taken under 5th CPC Series
According to the information given by the department, the decision to increase the ex-gratia amount for CPF beneficiaries has been taken under the 5th CPC series. This rule has come into effect from 1 July 2021. Under Group A, B, C and D of CPF beneficiary, ex gratia amount is given on the basis of Rs 3000, 1000, 750 and 650. This rule is from 4th June 2013.

Now the DR of pensioners i.e. dearness relief has been increased from 312 percent to 356 percent. Apart from this, the DR for another category of retired employees has been reduced from 304 per cent to 348 per cent. That is, even before Diwali, the light has gone for the pensioners.

Know who will get the benefit?
The beneficiary whose widow and children is given an ex-gratia of Rs.645 per month. This rule is for those who

Apart from this, government employees who retired before 18 November 1960 with CPF benefits and are in the category of Rs 654, 659, 703 and Rs 965 ex-gratia, they will get 348 percent.

Recently there has been an increase in DA and DR
After a long wait, the central government has increased the dearness allowance and dearness relief. Which has been implemented from 1 July 2021. This increase has been made in the basic pension. Let us tell you that earlier DA was 17 percent, which has been increased to 28 percent. Along with this, the DR has also been increased, it has also been increased from 17 percent to 28 percent.





This is the rate of dearness allowance
1 January 2020 to 30 June 2020 – 21% of basic salary
1 January 2020 to 31 December 2020 – 24% of basic salary
1 January 2021 to 30 May 2021 – 28% of basic salary

All other conditions laid down in the CCS Pension Rules, 1972 and orders of the Department of Pension and PW will be applicable while computing gratuity and cash payment in lieu of leave.
