For this, an important change has been made in the rule. An office memorandum was also issued for central employees. In which the rules related to promotion have been clarified.
Change in the rule of minimum requirement for promotion
Employees will get the benefit of promotion under the Seventh Pay Commission. An order for this has also been issued by the Defense Ministry. Under the issued order, the rule of minimum requirement for promotion of staff members has been changed. All the defense employees who come under the purview of the Pay Commission will be involved in this amendment. Along with this, criteria have been set for the promotion of service defense civilian employees.
Criteria set for promotion
According to the notification issued by the Ministry, the requirement of different levels of work experience for promotion of employees has been determined. For this, it is necessary to have 2 to 3 years of experience in Level 1. According to the information given by the Defense Ministry, these instructions have been issued with immediate effect. All employees will be given the benefit of promotion with immediate effect.
However, it will be mandatory to fulfill the criteria and eligibility. For Level 1 to 3, 3 years of experience is required. For level 2 to 4, 3 to 8 years of experience will be required for employees, while for promotion, employees up to level 17 will be promoted only if they have experience between one and 12 years.
Four percent increase in dearness allowance soon
Let us tell you that a four percent increase in dearness allowance to central employees for the July half year is considered fixed. Its formal announcement will be made soon. Proposals are also being prepared for this. Dearness allowance can be increased by 4%. With which dearness allowance can be increased to 46%. Apart from this, now the employees of Defense Ministry will also be given the benefit of promotion.
