DA may increase by 4 percent in July
Actually, the data for March of All India Consumer Price Index (AICPI) has come. Seeing these, it is being estimated that DA may increase by 4 percent in July.
Although the figures for three months (April, May and June) are yet to come, but the way inflation is increasing, the figures for these months are also expected to increase.
AICPI numbers jump
Talking about the AICPI index, there was some decrease in it in January-February, but there was a big jump in the figures of March. While the AICPI index was 125.1 and 125 respectively in January-February, it has increased by 1 point to 126 in March. If there is a jump in this in April, May and June also, then there can be a big increase in DA.
Dearness allowance was increased by 3 percent in January
At present, central employees are getting 34 percent dearness allowance and pensioners are getting the same dearness relief. Since dearness allowance is given twice a year (in January and July). In such a situation, in January 2022, there was an increase of 3 percent in the DA of the employees. Now new dearness allowance will be issued for July. In this, there are signs of getting big benefits for the employees.
If there is an increase in dearness allowance once again in July, then about 50 lakh central employees and 65 lakh pensioners will get its direct benefit.
DA is given for better living
Dearness Allowance is given to improve the living conditions of government employees. It is given to government employees, public sector employees and pensioners. The reason for giving it is that the standard of living of the employees should be maintained even in the rising inflation.
Know how much the salary will increase if it is 38 percent
According to an estimate, the employees whose basic salary is Rs 56,900, they will get Rs 21,622 as DA on getting 38 percent dearness allowance. Since according to 34 percent DA, such employees are getting Rs 19,346 at present, then their monthly salary will increase by Rs 2,276. That is, the annual salary will increase by Rs 27,312.
How much will increase on minimum wage
Similarly, after the dearness allowance becomes 38 percent, the employees with 18 thousand basic salary will get DA of Rs 6,840. These employees are currently getting Rs 6,120 according to 34 percent DA. That is, their monthly salary will increase by Rs 720. In this way, the annual salary will increase by Rs 8,640.
