How much will the salary of government employees increase
Actually, the employees of the Karnataka government had announced to go on an indefinite strike in August. Due to which there was pressure on the government to increase the salary. Earlier, giving some relief to the employees, the then Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai had increased the salary by 17 percent on an interim basis in March 2023. Now the Siddaramaiah government can increase it by 10.5 percent. If government sources are to be believed, then under the recommendations of the Seventh Pay Commission, there will be a total increase of 27.5 percent on the basic salary of the employees.
