Central government can give a big gift to the employees. This can cause a big jump in his salary. His salary may increase by more than Rs 9 thousand at once. This increase will be till the 7th Pay Commission), when the Central Government increases it under a rule made.
The government had made a rule in 2016. Under this rule, it was said that as soon as dearness allowance reaches 50 percent, it will be reduced to zero and there will be a huge increase in the basic salary of the employees. Now when can DA be increased to 50 percent and how many times can it be increased? Let us understand…
Dearness allowance may increase soon.
Under the 7th Pay Commission, the central government increases dearness allowance twice a year. It has been said in some media reports that after this, the Central Government can increase DA any time in July. This increase will be 4 percent. This means that currently 42 percent DA is being given and after increase of 4 percent it will become 46 percent.
At the same time, the central government can increase it once more by 4 percent (7th Pay Commission) after six months. In such a situation, the total dearness allowance of the employees will reach 50 percent. Till then the government’s rule of 2016 will be applicable.
Will there be an increase in basic salary?
During 2016, when the Seventh Pay Commission was implemented, the Central Government had added the previous dearness allowance (Da hike) to the basic salary and then was increasing the salary on the basis of the new dearness allowance.
Now this rule can be implemented once again. 50 percent dearness allowance can be added to the basic salary. After this, dearness allowance will be further increased from zero.
How much will the salaries of employees increase?
The basic salary of pay-bed level one employees is Rs 18 thousand. If we calculate this then we get Rs 7560 as dearness allowance. However, if this calculation is done on 50 percent dearness allowance then it will be Rs 9000.
That means the total salary will increase by Rs 9 thousand. This means that the salary of Rs 18 thousand will increase to Rs 27 thousand. If dearness allowance increases after this, it will be added.
