DA of employees will increase by 3 percent
According to media reports, there is a fixed increase of 3 percent in the dearness allowance of the employees. It will be considered effective from 1 January 2022. After this, the employees will start getting 34 percent DA, which is 31 percent now. However, the DA hike is yet to be announced.
DA arrears for January-February may continue
According to media reports, it is believed that the DA arrears of January and February will also be released in the salary of March. According to JCM Secretary Shiv Gopal Mishra, central employees should get money in proportion to inflation. The central government has not yet clarified about the status of pending 18 months DA arrears, but the 3% DA hike will give much needed relief to government employees.
Let us tell you that the employees have not yet received any indication from the government regarding the DA of 18 months, while they have been demanding to release it for a long time.
If DA arrears are received, employees will get a hefty salary
If the central government makes one time settlement of the arrears of DA arrears, then different amounts will be released for different levels of employees. If you are a Level 1 employee, then your DA arrears range between Rs 11,880 to Rs 37,554.
If you are a Level 13 employee, then your DA arrears range between Rs 1,23,100 to Rs 2,15,900. Apart from this, if you are a Level 14 employee, then your DA arrears from Rs 1,44,200 to Rs 2,18,200 are made.
