The entire amount including arrears will be added to the December salary of state employees, aided educational and technical educational institutions, urban local bodies, UGC and in-charge employees.
Before the beginning of the new year, the Uttar Pradesh government has given gifts to state employees, aided educational and technical educational institutions, urban local bodies, UGC and work-charged employees before the new year. The salary of all these employees coming on January 1 will be increased as compared to earlier. In fact, the state government has decided to increase the dearness allowance of the employees of the fifth and sixth pay scales from July 1, 2021. Which will be credited in the account of the employees by adding to the salary received on January 1.
Salary of January will come with arrears – According to Chief Secretary S Radha Chauhan, after the order of the state government, the full amount including arrears will be added to the December salary of state employees, aided educational and technical educational institutions, urban local bodies, UGC and charged employees. Dearness Allowance at the rate of 368 percent in the fifth pay scale – Employees with the recommendations of the Fifth Pay Commission will now get dearness allowance at the monthly rate of 368 percent of the sum of salary and dearness allowance. This pay scale includes those employees who were not selected in the revised pay structure with effect from January 1, 2006.
Employees of unorganized sector will get installment of allowance – The state government will give maintenance allowance to the registered laborers of the unorganized sector in two installments. In which all the laborers will be given an allowance of Rs. Regarding this order, it was told by the Labor Department that this amount of allowance will be given to all those laborers of the unorganized sector who will be registered with the Uttar Pradesh Unorganized Workers Social Security Board by December 31.
Administrative Service Officers also benefited – According to the orders issued earlier by the Ministry of Finance, an order has been issued to give the benefit of increase in dearness allowance from July 1, 2021 to the officers of the Indian Service posted in the state. Those in the seventh pay scale will now get dearness allowance at the rate of 31 per cent and those in the sixth pay scale will get dearness allowance at the rate of 196 per cent. The people of the fifth pay commission will get dearness allowance at the rate of 368 percent.
Contract workers of bodies will be regular – The government is soon going to regularize the remaining contractual and work charge workers in municipal bodies and water institutions. For which the details of contractual employees have been sought from the local body. In which only those employees will be considered eligible. Who have been appointed till 31st December 2001.
