New Delhi: 7th Pay Commission: The Central Government has given a wonderful gift to the railway employees on Dussehra 2021. Giving good news to the railway employees, the central government announced a bonus to them. About 11.56 lakh railway personnel will benefit from this announcement. A decision in this regard was taken in the cabinet meeting held on Wednesday.

Union Minister Anurag Thakur gave information in this regard.
He told through a press conference that the Union Cabinet has approved Productivity Linked Bonus equivalent to 78 days’ salary to eligible non-gazetted railway employees (except RPF/RPSF employees) for the financial year 2020-21. . About 11.56 lakh non-gazetted railway employees are likely to benefit from this decision.
Government will spend Rs 1985 crore
According to media reports, the central government will spend about Rs 1985 crore on the bonus of railway employees. The salary calculation limit fixed for PLB payment to eligible railwaymen is Rs 7,000 per month. The maximum limit of their 78 days bonus is Rs 17951.
Gift received before Dussehra: Recently, the
Ministry of Railways presented a proposal to the cabinet for payment of PLB equal to 78 days’ salary for railway employees, which got the approval of the cabinet on Wednesday. Explain that every year railway employees get bonus before Dussehra. This year also the decision of the cabinet will be implemented before the festive holidays.
Let us tell you that from the year 2010-11 to 2019-20, the central government is paying the PLB amount equal to 78 days’ salary. The government will also pay PLB amount equal to 78 days salary to railway employees for 2020-21. With the bonus to the employees, it is expected that the market will also boom.
