New Delhi: The employees working under the central government have got the biggest good news of this year. Government employees were demanding DA Hike for a long time. Now the government has fulfilled the wish of his mind in this festive season. In the meeting of the Central Cabinet, the government has given its approval to four per cent DA Hike. Apart from DA Hike, employees have got another big gift before Diwali 2022 and Dussehra 2022.
How much is DA
After the latest 4 per cent DA hike from the government, central employees will get DA at the rate of 38 per cent. At present, DA is being given to the employees at the rate of 34 percent. The increased dearness allowance of employees has come into effect from July 2022. Apart from this, along with DA Hike, employees will also get DA arrears for July and August. According to media reports, about one and a half lakh rupees will be given to the employees as arrears.
Know how much the salary will increase
After the latest DA Hike, there will be a bumper increase in the salary of the employees. On getting dearness allowance at the rate of 38 percent, the salary of central employees getting 18 thousand minimum salary will increase by Rs 720 per month. If we look at the yearly basis, then there will be an increase of Rs 8640. Similarly, if we talk about the maximum salary of Rs 56,9000 every month, then it will increase by Rs 2276 every month. On an annual basis, it will increase by Rs 27,132.
Good news for pensioners too
Along with the employed people, the government has also given a big gift to the pensioners in this festive season. The dearness relief i.e. DR given by the government to the pensioners has also been increased. This time DR Hike has happened at the rate of 4 percent. Earlier, DR was being given to the pensioners at the rate of 34 percent, but now it will be available at the rate of 38 percent.
