After increasing the dearness allowance (DA), HRA and TA of central government employees, the government is now planning to increase the DA by 3% more in January 2022, says the report. If this is true, then there will be a huge increase in the salary of the employees again.
According to a report in Hindi daily Prabhat Khabar, if the DA is increased by 3% in January 2022, then the salary of central government employees will increase by about Rs 20,000.
Dearness Allowance (DA) of central government employees is updated twice a year between January and July. The current DA that the central government employees are getting is 31 percent.
The decision to release DA to the employees has not yet been formally announced by the government but is expected to happen soon.
Apart from the DA hike, the government is also planning to increase the fitment factor. If the fitment factor increases, the salary of the employees will also increase.
