Changes made in Group Insurance
Odisha Government has also made changes in the Group Insurance Scheme for all its employees. GIS fee has been increased from Rs 7,500 to Rs 20,000 for employees with grade pay up to Rs 4800. Similarly, GIS fee has been increased from Rs 12,000 to Rs 30,000 for employees with grade pay of Rs 5,400 or more. According to the information given by the CMO, the GIS fee will be deducted from the salary of the employees in 10 installments as before.
Increase in financial aid
