The Uttar Pradesh government can make a big announcement for its employees (UP Govt Employees) before Diwali. Before Diwali, dearness allowance (DA) can be increased by 4 percent for 15 lakh employees and 8 lakh pensioners. At the same time, the state government can also announce bonus for non-gazetted employees. However, the increase in dearness allowance will be announced only after the increase by the central government.

The Dearness Allowance Hike announced by the Uttar Pradesh government is expected to benefit about 15 lakh government employees of the state. This decision is expected to put an additional burden of Rs 3,000 crore on the state treasury. Apart from this, non-gazetted employees are expected to get bonus, which will be decided on the basis of their basic salary and DA. Last year, a bonus of about Rs 7000 was allotted to the employees. It is estimated that this time there will be a slight increase in the bonus.

8th Pay Commission

The 7th Pay Commission was constituted in February 2014 for government employees, so that people can get a salary increase according to inflation. After its establishment, the recommendations submitted by the commission were implemented from January 1, 2016. The Pay Commission is called every decade and it is implemented, so that people can get benefits. In such a situation, it is expected that the central government can soon implement the Eighth Pay Commission.

How much will the salary increase

After the official announcement from the government, the 8th Pay Commission is expected to be established in the year 2026. If the Eighth Pay Commission is implemented, then according to forecasts, the possible salary hike will be between 20% to 35%, due to which the compensation of Level 1 can increase to about Rs 34,560 and the compensation of Level 18 can be increased to Rs 4.8 lakh.

When will the dearness allowance of central employees increase?

It is worth noting that till now there has been no increase in the dearness allowance of central employees in the month of July. But some reports say that it can be announced in the next month. The increase in dearness allowance for central employees can be from 3 to 4 percent. It is also being said that the basic salary of the employees can also increase.
