New Delhi, Business Desk. There is good news for the teachers and non-teaching staff of recognized state minority secondary schools in Bihar. The government has decided to give him the seventh pay scale. Its benefits will be available to pre-appointed personnel from January 1, 2006 or onwards. On Tuesday, the Bihar cabinet meeting chaired by the Chief Minister of the state, Nitish Kumar, stamped 49 agendas. The meeting approved the New Bihar Agricultural Investment Promotion Policy 2020 to promote agro-based industry.
It is worth noting that before the Bihar Assembly elections, Chief Minister Nitish Kumar has increased the basic salary of (employed) teachers of Panchayati Raj and Municipal Institutions by 15 percent. Three and a half lakh teachers will get this benefit from April 1, 2021. This is not the first time. Prior to this, the salary has increased by 20 percent in 2015, 17 percent on the recommendation of the Seventh Pay Commission in 2017 and now about 20 percent. Thus, since 2015, the salary of teachers has been increased by about 57 percent.

In yesterday’s meeting, it was decided to give additional amount of one month’s salary to the medical students studying medical (MBBS and PG) for the Karona epidemic. Apart from this, decisions were also taken to constitute Backward and Extremely Backward Classes Welfare Officer Service Recruitment and Service Conditions Rules 2020.
