Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik has announced a 3% hike in Dearness Allowance for state employees and pensioners. According to the information given by the Chief Minister’s Office, about 7.5 lakh employees and pensioners of the state have benefited from this decision.
Seal on 30 percent
Significantly, the state government has also decided to give 30 percent arrears to the employees under the 7th Pay Commission. The employees will get arrears of 50 percent of the increased wages between January 2016 and August 2017. Six lakh employees of the state will benefit from this decision. That is, from the beginning of the new year, the employees have become bat-bat.

Central government can also increase
