DA Hike will happen this month
According to the news going on in the media, on the 28th of this month, the government can take a decision in favor of the employees regarding DA Hike. There are also reports that the DA of central employees may increase by up to 4 percent.
It is worth noting that this increase in dearness allowance will be payable from July 1, 2022. In this sense, if the dearness allowance of the employees is announced soon, then the happiness of the employees will double during the festive season. Before Diwali, there will be salary credit with increased dearness allowance in the account of central employees, that is, the employees will get increased salary.
DA will increase on this basis
The Central Government assesses the dearness allowance received by the central employees twice every year and it is increased accordingly. The increase in dearness allowance depends on the All India Consumer Price Index (AICPI). If there is an increase in the AICPI index, then the dearness allowance is also increased.
At present, DA is being given to central employees at the rate of 34 percent. Now it can be increased by 4 percent. If the central government announces an increase in dearness allowance on the occasion of Navratri, then the central employees will get dearness allowance at the rate of 38 percent.
How much will the salary increase
After DA Hike, the minimum basic salary will increase by more than 8 thousand rupees. It can be easily understood through an example. For example, if the basic salary of an employee is Rs 18,000. According to 34 percent, the current dearness allowance is available at Rs 6120. With 38 percent DA, it will become Rs 6840. That is, if you calculate, then there will be an increase of Rs 720 in DA according to the month. That is, the annual salary will increase by Rs 8640.
How much will the maximum salary increase
Employees with maximum salary bracket will get benefit of more than 27 thousand rupees annually from DA Hike. As an example, if someone’s maximum basic salary is Rs 56,900. According to 34 percent, the current dearness allowance is available at Rs 19,346. With 38 percent DA, it will become Rs 21622. That is, if you calculate, then there will be an increase of Rs 2276 in DA according to the month. That is, the annual salary will increase by Rs 27,312.
