Prayagraj – New Delhi
Vande Bharat Express (22416) runs from New Delhi to Prayagraj. This train runs from Monday to Sunday. This train departs from New Delhi at 15 am and reaches Prayagraj at 9:11 pm. This train reaches New Delhi Railway Station at 11 pm.
Lucknow to Dehradun Vande Bharat
The operation of Vande Bharat Express between Doon-Lucknow started on 12 March 2024. This train, which runs six days a week except Monday, covers the distance between Dehradun and Lucknow in just eight hours and 20 minutes. How much distance is – 545 km. The fare of the chair car is Rs 1540, the fare of the executive car is Rs 2764.
Varanasi to New Delhi
This train runs between Varanasi and New Delhi, which passes through Varanasi district of Uttar Pradesh. The first Vande Bharat train was launched on 18 February 2019, which runs between Varanasi and New Delhi. This train leaves Varanasi at 3 pm and reaches New Delhi at 11 pm. The fare of the chair car is Rs 1750 and that of the executive car is Rs 3305.
Agra-New Delhi
This train runs between Agra and New Delhi, which passes through Agra district of Uttar Pradesh. This train takes 1 hour 36 minutes to reach Agra. The average time taken by trains between New Delhi and Agra is 1 hour 40 minutes. At the same time, Vande Bharat Express also runs from Agra to Varanasi. This train departs from Cantt station at 6 am and reaches Varanasi at 1 pm. At the same time, it departs from Varanasi at 3.20 pm and reaches Cantt at 10.20 pm. The first Vande Bharat train passing through Agra ran on April 1, 2023. Regular operation of this train started from April 3.
Lucknow -New Delhi
This train runs between Lucknow and New Delhi, which passes through Lucknow district of Uttar Pradesh. Vande Bharat Express has the facility of AC chair car and executive class. The train has catering facility. The doors of the train are fully automatic. The fare of Vande Bharat Chair Car from Lucknow to Anand Vihar is Rs 1,410, Executive Class fare is Rs 2,595.
Anand Vihar Terminal – Ayodhya Cantonment
This train runs between Anand Vihar Terminal and Ayodhya Cantonment, which passes through Ayodhya district of Uttar Pradesh. Anand Vihar Terminal – Ayodhya Cantonment Vande Bharat Express is the 36th Vande Bharat Express train of India, which connects Anand Vihar Terminal of the capital New Delhi to Ayodhya, the birthplace of Lord Ram of Kosal in Uttar Pradesh. This express train was inaugurated on 30 December 2023 by Prime Minister Narendra Modi from Ayodhya Dham Junction.
Meerut -Lucknow
This train runs between Meerut and Lucknow, which passes through Meerut and Lucknow districts of Uttar Pradesh. Vande Bharat Express runs six days a week. This train departs from Meerut City Junction at 6:35 am and arrives at Lucknow Junction at 1:45 pm. It halts at Moradabad and Bareilly. The fare for a chair car from Meerut to Lucknow is Rs 1,355. The fare for an executive chair car is Rs 2,415. The train serves breakfast, lunch, tea, and dinner. The train has automatic doors and AC coaches. To be extended from Meerut to Varanasi.
New Vande Bharat from Varanasi to Deoghar in Jharkhand
There is a Vande Bharat train from Varanasi to Deoghar in Jharkhand. The Vande Bharat train number is 22500. This train departs from Varanasi at 6:20 am and arrives Deoghar at 1:40 pm. This train does not run on Tuesdays, it runs on all other days. The fare for the chair car class is Rs 1,355 and for the executive class it is Rs 2,415. 278 Vande Bharat by the end of 2025
278 Vande Bharat trains will be ready in the country by the end of 2025. All 478 Vande Bharat trains will be ready by 2027. The country’s initial 78 Vande Bharat trains are being manufactured jointly by the Railways’ ICF Chennai and private company Medha. Apart from this, 400 more Vande Bharat trains are to be made. These will be made by private companies.
