Will the 8th Pay Commission be implemented in 2026?

The central government has not yet constituted the 8th Pay Commission. According to sources, it will be constituted from April 1, 2025 and will start its work. However, it will depend on the recommendations of the Pay Commission as to when they submit it and later when it gets approval from the government.
