How much can the salary of employees increase?
According to media reports, currently a mid-level employee gets a salary of about Rs 1 lakh every year. This salary is before tax deduction. The increase in the salary of central employees depends on the allocation of the budget.
- If Rs 1.75 lakh crore is allocated for salary hike, the salary could be Rs 1,14,600 per month.
- If Rs 2 lakh crore is given, the salary can be Rs 1,16,700 per month.
- If Rs 2.25 lakh crore is given, then the salary can increase to Rs 1,18,800 per month.
However, it is important to note that no confirmation has been made about the salary hike yet. The above figures regarding salary hike are estimated.
When will the 8th Pay Commission be implemented?
No official announcement has been made yet regarding the 8th Pay Commission. According to media reports, the 8th Pay Commission may start from April 2025. At the same time, the decisions, reviews and suggestions taken by the 8th Pay Commission can be implemented from January 2026 next year.
When was the last pay commission implemented?
According to the information received in this regard, the government had allocated Rs 1.02 lakh crore for the 7th Pay Commission. Although it was implemented from January 2016. But government employees and pensioners saw its effect in July 2016.
As per the suggestion of this meeting, the government increased the basic salary from Rs 7000 to Rs 18,000.
