In Jammu and Kashmir, terrorists targeted a bus returning from Shiv Khodi yesterday. There were 40 to 50 passengers in this bus. The terrorists fired 20 to 30 rounds on this bus, in which one bullet hit the bus driver as well. After the bus driver was shot, the bus fell into a deep ditch. A large-scale operation is being carried out by the security forces so that the terrorists can be caught as soon as possible.
A major terrorist attack has taken place in Reasi district of Jammu and Kashmir. Terrorists fired about 30 to 40 rounds on a bus going from Shiv Khodi to Katra. The bus driver was hit by a bullet in the firing of the terrorists, due to which the driver lost balance on the vehicle and the bus fell into a deep ditch. 9 people have died and 33 people have been injured in the accident. They have been immediately sent to Narayana Hospital and Reasi District Hospital.
It is believed that two to three terrorists have carried out this cowardly act. Sources say that these terrorists are of Pakistani origin, who have attacked. At the same time, dense forests are being searched with the third eye i.e. drones so that all the terrorists hiding in these forests can be found. At the same time, they can be eliminated.
The bus that was the victim of the accident was returning from Shiv Khodi. The pilgrims were returning to Katra after visiting Bhole Baba in Shiv Khodi. The pictures around the bus are shocking. The bodies of many people were seen lying here and there. The bodies were found in a mutilated condition. Some of these were the bodies of children. It is said that the terrorists started firing near the dargah located at Chandi Mode between Pouni and Ransoo. There were 40 to 50 pilgrims in the bus.
According to the Reasi administration, people died due to the bus falling into the ditch. The relief and rescue operation has been completed. The pilgrims on the bus were from Uttar Pradesh, Delhi and Rajasthan. The injured passengers have been shifted to District Hospital Reasi, Narayan Hospital in Katra and Government Medical College, Jammu. At the same time, a search operation has been launched to find the terrorists. The area has been cordoned off and the search is on.
PM Modi expressed grief over the incident
At the same time, Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Amit Shah expressed grief over the accident and wished for the speedy recovery of the injured. Amit Shah spoke to the Lieutenant Governor and DGP of Jammu and Kashmir and inquired about the attack on the pilgrims in Reasi. He said that the culprits of the attack will not be spared and they will be brought to justice. Jammu and Kashmir Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha tweeted that the Prime Minister inquired about the situation and asked to keep an eye on the situation. Along with this, instructions have been given for better treatment and help to all the injured.
Rahul Gandhi called the terrorist attack cowardly
President Draupadi Murmu expressed grief over the death of pilgrims in the bus accident in Reasi district of Jammu and Kashmir and expressed condolences to the families of the victims. Along with this, he wished for the speedy recovery of the injured. At the same time, Rahul Gandhi, calling the terrorist attack cowardly, has said that the whole country stands united against terrorism. Former Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Omar Abdullah has condemned the Reasi terror attack and said that the areas from where the terrorists were removed have returned again.
