Dehradun, Due to the Corona transition, this time many of the Indian Army Academy (IMA) years old traditions are going to change. At the same time, the foundation of some new traditions will also be laid. Every time after passing out parade the cadets cross the ‘last step’ and march towards the service of Mother India, but this time a new chapter is going to be added in the history of the academy. Gentleman cadets will also undergo the ‘first leg’ for the first time in the academy after Peeping Ceremony. This is because after becoming an officer this time, cadets will not go home but go directly to their respective units.

This time the format of IMA’s passing out parade is not grand but will be limited to rituals. Guardians and relatives of the Gentlemen Cadets will not attend the parade. The number of other people will also be limited. While cadets will step in with a mask, physical distance will also be followed at every level. After the swearing parade, the stars used to put kith and kin on the shoulders of the cadets, but this is the first time that their gurus will bear this responsibility.

IMA ready on Corona front

The army does not stop its steps even when the emergency stops. The Indian Military Academy is an example of this. Wherever on the front of the corona, strong steps have been made. In the coronary period, the IMA changed the way of working on one side, while increasing the precaution at every level. A machine is also being used in the academy, due to which the corona cannot enter.

In this machine with three layer security, the entire body of the person is sanitized without first handing over anything in the box. After the hooter is played, the person has to move to another box. Where the person’s mobile or all other goods have to pass through ultraviolet rays. After this, the third stage is to stay in a box with a temperature of over 45 degrees. Only after completing these procedures is one given admission to the IMA.
