Many a times it happens that cardholders apply for date of birth updation but their application is rejected. In such a situation, the cardholders do not understand what to do and what not to do.



Aadhar card is a very important government document. It is issued by the Unique Identification Authority of India (UIDAI). Many times it happens in the Aadhar card that the wrong date of birth is printed or due to some reason the Aadhar cardholder wants to make changes in it.

Date of birth can be updated in Aadhar card. UIDAI provides this facility to the card holders. Many a times it happens that cardholders apply for date of birth updation but their application is rejected. In such a situation, the cardholders do not understand what to do and what not to do.

In such a situation, if you are updating your date of birth for the first time, then you can get information about it by calling 1947 and take action accordingly.

The date of birth rules are a bit strict. Change in date of birth can be done with a maximum range of three years (plus or minus) from the age entered at the time of enrollment. Apart from the date of birth, you can update your name, address, mobile number, email id, gender (gender) and biometric (photo, fingerprint + iris) in Aadhaar.



Let us tell you that if you do not make the necessary updates in the Aadhar card, then it is your loss. There are many cardholders who do not update the address, mobile number or other in Aadhaar and it is difficult when Aadhaar card is required.
