If you have recently downloaded your e-Aadhaar from a public computer in an internet cafe, then there is a high risk of your Aadhaar being misused. Anyone can misuse it by stealing your Aadhar card from a public gadget. Therefore, the use of public computers to download the e-Aadhaar card should be avoided.
Recently UIDAI has tweeted
From its official Twitter handle and has warned users to refrain from downloading e-Aadhaar from any public computer. UIDAI has said in a tweet post that it is necessary to delete all downloaded copies of e-Aadhaar upon download.

“#BewareOfFraudsters Please avoid using public computers in internet cafes/kiosks to download e-Aadhaar. However, if you do so, it is highly recommended to delete all downloaded copies of #eAadhaar,” UIDAI said in a tweet.
People can misuse the Aadhar card as it is now being used as an identity document in many places. Users should be aware that Aadhaar is a free 12 digit identification number issued to all by UIDAI. Under the Aadhaar Act, an e-Aadhaar is valid for all reasons as a physical copy of Aadhaar.
