There is big news for Aadhaar card users. The government can cancel the Aadhaar card of 65 thousand people. Actually, the Unique Identification Authority of India (UIDAI) has provided free online facility to update information in Aadhaar cards 10 years or older.

The central government has extended the deadline several times to update information in Aadhaar, but still thousands of people have not done this work. In Bhopal, the Aadhaar card of about 65 thousand people who have not updated their Aadhaar yet can be cancelled. For this, you will have to go to the ‘MyAadhaar’ portal and upload the necessary documents.

Why is Aadhaar update necessary?

14 December deadline?

UIDAI has given time till December 14 to update information in 10-year-old Aadhaar. Earlier the deadline was extended thrice: first March 14, then June 14, and then September 14. Now December 14 is being considered as the final deadline.
