Dates of birth can be updated online on the basis of Aadhaar
If the date of birth on Aadhar card is wrong, you can update your date of birth in Aadhar card through Self Service Update Portal of UIDAI. As per UIDAI guidelines, only declared or unverified date of birth can be updated online. Apart from this, you have to upload the scanned copy of the required documents to update the date of birth.
What is the whole process
To update the date of birth in your Aadhar card, first you have to visit its website ssup.uidai.gov.in/ssup/. After this, you have to enter your 12 digit Aadhaar number there.
After this you have to fill the captcha code and click on send OTP. Then an OTP will come on your registered mobile number, enter it and log on to this portal.
After this you have to click on Update demographic details. Here you have to select the date of birth. Enter your correct date of birth and then you have to upload the mentioned documents. After this, you have to submit the request by paying a fee of Rs 50. After this you will get a reference number, note it down. You can also track the status of your request through this website.
