Earlier users needed to have registered phone number linked with Aadhaar to download Aadhaar. But now it will not be needed. To download Aadhaar card online without registering phone number, first, visit the official UIDAI website, and tap on “My Aadhaar”.

Then you have to click on ‘Order Aadhaar Reprint’ option. You will then be asked to enter your 12 digit Aadhaar number. Users also get the option to enter a 16-digit Virtual Identification Number (VID) instead of the Aadhaar card number. After doing this you will have to enter the security or captcha code.
How to generate OTP
Now if you want to download the card without your registered mobile number, you have to click on the option ‘My mobile number is not registered’. Next, you need to enter your alternate number or non-registered mobile number. After that, you have to click on ‘Send OTP’. You will then get a One Time Password (OTP) on the alternate number entered by you. Users will also be asked to click on the ‘Terms and Conditions’ checkbox, after which you can click on the ‘Submit’ button.
Will be redirected to new page
Now you will be redirected to a new page showing ‘Preview Aadhaar Letter’ to further verify for reprint. After this you have to select the option ‘Make Payment’. One thing to keep in mind that you should keep your digital sign ready as you need to submit to download the PDF.
Will get service request number
Finally a service request number will also be generated through SMS. You can use that number to track your application status till the Aadhaar letter is sent to you. Let us tell you one more thing that it is necessary to link Aadhaar and PAN by 30 September. Actually, if you do not link PAN and Aadhaar by September 30, then your PAN will become inactive, due to which you will not be able to do the work of the bank.
Because your KYC in the bank will be invalid. Know one more important thing, if PAN becomes inactive, you will also have to face fine. You will also need a PAN to buy gold above Rs 5 lakh. According to the new rules, it is forbidden to use invalid or inactive PAN, rather it will come under the category of crime.
