Always use mAadhaar
1. To avoid Aadhar card fraud, first of all you should use mAadhaar app.
2. You can download mAadhaar app from Google Play Store or Apple App Store.
3. After this you have to enter the mobile number and after OTP verification mAadhaar will be opened.
4. Now you go to the registration option of mAadhaar, for which you have to set a 4 digit PIN.
5. Then submit the 12 digit security code of Aadhaar.
6. After this your mAadhaar will be registered.
How to Lock Biometrics
1. You will be given three options at the bottom of the mAadhaar page.
2. There will be an option of a virtual ID (Aadhaar Virtul ID Card) which will have to be created before biometric and Aadhaar lock.
3. After clicking on Virtual ID, you will have to enter Aadhar Number and Captcha Code.
4. After OTP verification, your Virtual ID will be generated.
5. This ID card holder will have to remember. By submitting this virtual ID, you can lock your Aadhaar. Similarly, Aadhaar can also be locked in a biometric way.
