Aadhaar Card Update: Aadhaar card is one of the important documents which we need for getting a SIM card, as an identity card, for opening a bank account, for getting e-KYC done, for joining government or non-government schemes, etc. 

These Aadhaar cards are issued by the Unique Identification Authority of India i.e. UIDAI. At the same time, many times something gets printed wrongly in people’s Aadhaar card or people want to change some information in their Aadhaar card for some other reason, such as the cardholder’s photo and address. Actually, if you also want to change the photo or address of your Aadhaar card, then you can do this work very easily. There is a way of this, about which you can know further. This is how you can change the photo and address of the Aadhaar card:-

Step 1

  • If you also want to change the address given in your Aadhaar card for any reason or want to change the printed photo, then you can do this
  • First of all, you have to take an appointment by visiting this official link https://appointments.uidai.gov.in/bookappointment.aspx

Step 2

  • After this, first of all you have to go to your nearest Aadhaar Seva Kendra
    Here you have to take the correction form
  • In this form, you have to fill the required information, such as the name of the cardholder, Aadhaar number, mobile number etc.
  • Also fill in this form that you want to change your photo and your address

Step 3

  • Then you have to go to the concerned officer with the filled form and the documents attached with it
  • After this, the officer processes your application
  • Where first of all your biometrics are taken and your identity is ensured

Step 4

After this, the application given by you is fed into the system Then you are given a slip which has a request number. You can check your status with this number only. And within a few days the request given by you gets completed.
