UIDAI has launched a new service whereby Aadhaar holders can get their details printed on polyvinyl chloride (PVC) cards by paying a few fees. Anyone who does not have a registered mobile number can also order an Aadhaar PVC card using a non-registered/alternate mobile number.

The Unique Identification Authority of India (UIDAI), the issuing body of the Aadhaar number, allows users to check the enrollment status of the Aadhaar card using the Enrollment ID (EID). The EID appears at the top of the enrollment/update acknowledgment slip and contains the 14 digit enrollment number (1234/12345/12345) and the 14 digit date and time (dd/mm/yyyy hh:mm:ss). These 28 digits make up the EID. If the EID is lost from the user, then the lost EID can be recovered by the registered mobile number.

Aadhar card enrollment status can be checked online, know how

Step 1: Visit the official website of UIDAI- uidai.gov.in.

According to UIDAI, to change the registered mobile number, the Aadhaar holder will have to visit the center with the Aadhaar card.
