At present, Aadhaar Authentication is used only by the Central and State Governments, but after the change of rules, private institutions will also be able to use Aadhaar for authentication.

Significantly, NGOs will send their advice to the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology. Along with this, the proposed changes related to Aadhaar can be seen on the official website of the Ministry of Information Technology. Apart from non-governmental organizations, the general public can also give their advice. All advice will be taken up to May 2023. The changes made after this will be sent to the Unique Identification Authority of India.
