Aadhaar Card has now become one of the most important documents of your identity and it is mandatory to be shown not only for identification but for most of the important works. But, it is often seen that one does not like the photo taken while making Aadhaar or Voter Card. If you also have this problem and want to change your photo, then we will provide you an easy way to get the photo changed in Aadhaar. Explaining the method.

No online facility to change photo

In today’s time, Aadhaar Card is not only the biggest document of your identity, but it has also become mandatory for all financial purposes. Be it opening a bank account, getting a child admitted in a school, making a land or house deal or taking advantage of the schemes run by the government, this Aadhaar card is needed everywhere. In such a situation, it is often seen that one has to face difficulty in matching photos. To get rid of this problem, Unique Identification Authority of India i.e. UIDAI has also given the facility to the users to get their photo changed. However, let us tell you here that this work cannot be done online.

Aadhaar users will have to go to the nearby Aadhaar center

All the information including name, address, date of birth is mentioned on the Aadhar card. Along with all this, your photo is printed on it, which reveals your identity. To get your old photo on the card changed and a new photo installed, you will have to go to your nearest Aadhaar Center. To find out, you can check the list of all the nearest Aadhaar centers by visiting the UIDAI website (appointments.uidai.gov.in).

There will be a fee of Rs 100 for this work

After locating your nearest Aadhaar Center from the website, you will have to go there and take a form related to updating the photo from the counter. After this, read and fill all the details asked in the form carefully and submit it again at the designated counter. After this, the operator present there will take your new photograph and will generate a slip with the update request number and give it to you. After the photo is updated, the digital copy of the Aadhar card with the new photo can be easily downloaded by visiting uidai.gov.in. For this work you also have to pay a fixed fee of Rs 100. This form can also be downloaded online from the website.
