According to the official website of UIDAI, the money is credited back to the users’ account within 7-21 days after the completion of the process of canceling the appointment.
Process to book appointment
1. First of all you have to go to the official website and click on My Aadhar option.
2. After this you will see the option of ‘Book an Appointment’, select it.
3. Now you have to select your city and state.
4. After this you click on ‘Proceed to book an appointment’.
5. Now you have to enter your registered mobile number here. And select the option of Aadhar Update.
6. After this you click on generate otp.
7. Now you will be asked for some information related to Aadhar Service Center, fill it up and verify it.
8. Now you can select the time slot of the appointment by filling some of your personal details.
Similarly, if you are not available on the specified date, then you can extend it further.
