You can change your address in Aadhaar by following some very easy steps.

Address can be updated in this way

  • To update address in Aadhaar, first you have to go to its website uidai.gov.in. After this you have to click on the option of My Aadhar.
  • In the second step, you have to go to the option of Update Your Aadhaar. After this, you have to go to the option of update address in your Aadhaar. Then you will have to enter your 12 digit aadhar number and captcha code.
  • In the third step, an OTP will be sent to your mobile number. After which you will see the option to change the address. In the fourth step, you can update your address by clicking on this option, but for this you will have to attach an address proof
  • In the fourth step, you will have to pay a service charge of Rs 50. After that you will get a receipt. After completion of all this process, your address will be updated in your Aadhaar in 24 hours.
