UIDAI has advised users not to use the copy of PVC Aadhaar from the open market by tweeting. Keeping in mind the safety and security, UIDAI has appealed to the customers not to use such Aadhaar.

UIDAI, which monitors the Aadhar card, tweeted that if a customer gets a PVC card or plastic card or Smart Aadhar card made from the open market, then it will not be valid. UIDAI also told that customers can do their work through any Aadhar card.
What type of aadhar card will be valid
UIDAI said in the tweet that the Aadhar or Aadhar letter downloaded from uidai.gov.in or m-Aadhaar profile or Aadhar PVC card, issued by UIDAI, is the same as Aadhaar card (Aadhaar). Card) can be used in related work.

Why is it advised to issue Aadhaar from UIDAI website?
Most people apply for Aadhaar from the UIDAI website, then after the Aadhaar card is ready, save a PDF copy of it in the phone or computer. People take this copy to the lamination shop in the market and prepare it in the form of a PVC card by paying a few rupees.
According to UIDAI, the shopkeeper makes the Aadhar card out of plastic but there is no security feature in it. In such a situation, the security of the Aadhaar number can be tampered with. To avoid this, UIDAI has advised to make smart card from the official website itself.
