UIDAI has said that 114 Aadhaar Seva Kendras will be opened in 53 cities of the country. Here you can apply for change in Aadhar card or for new Aadhar. All these service centers will be opened in metro cities and capitals.
New Delhi. Aadhar card has become one of the most important documents we have today. It is needed in every financial and non-financial work. In view of its growing need, the Unique Identification Authority of India (UIDAI), the organization that created it, has decided to open 114 Aadhaar Seva Kendras to make it easier for people to get new Aadhaar or change old Aadhaar. These Aadhaar Seva Kendras will be opened in 53 major cities. These Aadhaar Seva Kendras will be opened in state capitals, all metro cities and union territories.
You can do all kinds of work related to Aadhaar at these centers. At present 88 Aadhaar Seva Kendras are functioning in the country. Please note that AADHAAR Seva Kendras work on all days of the week. It is not closed even on Sundays. Their opening hours are from 9.30 am to 5.30 pm. Special facilities are provided for the differently-abled and senior citizens in these centers. Apart from Aadhaar Seva Kendras, 35,000 Aadhar Centers are also functioning in the country. These are run by banks, post offices, BSNL offices and state governments.

You can enroll for a new card here. Apart from this, name, address, gender, date of birth, mobile number, email ID can be changed or corrected on the old Aadhar card. Apart from this, other work related to biometric verification including photographing and fingerprinting is also done at these centers.
There is a fee for updating
Let us tell you that if you want to make any other changes in the Aadhaar card including biometrics, then its fee is charged. At the same time, if you are asked for an amount more than the fixed fee at any center, then you can lodge a complaint on the UIDAI website or by calling the number 1947.
Biometric update is free for kids
Let us tell you that the child base is formed for children below 5 years. They have to get the biometric updated on the completion of 5 years of age and again at the age of 15 years. No charge is to be paid for these two-time mandatory biometric updates. Apart from this, there is no charge for anyone’s Aadhaar enrollment.
