UIDAI has issued a tweet saying that if any agency charges extra for updating Aadhaar, strict action will be taken against it. Apart from this, you can call 1947 for this.

Aadhaar is an important document, so in such a situation, you should link all your important documents and keep it in the bank, so that there is no problem of any kind. The Income Tax Department has also tweeted about this, which states that as per the Income Tax Act, 1961, the last date for linking PAN with Aadhaar, for all PAN holders who do not come under the exemption category, is 31.3 .2023 is. If PAN is not linked with Aadhaar, PAN will become inactive.

let us tell you that the date for linking PAN with Aadhaar has already been extended several times. This time the government is not in favor of taking it forward, so you should link Aadhaar and PAN as soon as possible. Alert has also been issued several times by the CBDT regarding this.
Will not be able to link later even with penalty
CBDT has said that even after June 30, if your Aadhaar is not linked with PAN, you will be fined Rs 1000. Along with this, the government has said that you will not be able to link your PAN with Aadhaar even after imposing late fee. No such offer will be given to anyone.

let us tell you that till March 31, 2023, you can link your PAN with Aadhaar, those people who do not link these two documents, their PAN will also become useless. After this, PAN card holders will not be able to do any kind of financial transaction from opening an account in the bank. Apart from this, if you use an invalid PAN card anywhere, you can also be fined up to Rs 10,000 under Section 272B of the Income Tax Act, 1961.
