This is the last date to link PAN with Aadhaar
The Income Tax Department has fixed March 31, 2022 as the last date for linking PAN with Aadhaar. If any PAN card holder does not do so before this stipulated date, he may also have to pay a heavy fine of Rs 10,000.
Apart from this, the Income Tax Department can also deactivate your Permanent Account Number (PAN). You can link your PAN card with Aadhaar by visiting the official website of Income Tax Department.
How to link Aadhar with pan
Step 1: To link Aadhaar with PAN, first you have to visit the official website of Income Tax Department https://www.incometaxindia.gov.in/pages/pan.aspx .
Step 2: After this you have to click on the option of ‘Link Aadhaar’ appearing on the screen.
Step 3: After this you have to enter your PAN number and Aadhaar number in the given box.
Step 4: After this you have to enter the security captcha code given below.
Step 5: After this, you have to click on the link Aadhaar button given below.
Step 6: Once this process is completed, your Aadhaar will be linked with your PAN card.
