New Delhi: If you are a subscriber of Employee Provident Fund, then it is quite possible that by now you would have known the necessity of getting Aadhar Linking Mandatory from EPF account or you must have got it linked by now. If you have not done it, then get it done soon because EPFO has said that from September 1, the amount of PF will be sent to the account of only those employees whose Aadhaar number will be linked to the Universal Account Number of PF.
EPFO has said that it is mandatory for the subscribers to link the UAN with the Aadhaar, otherwise the PF account holders will be deprived of many facilities like withdrawal of advance, apart from transfer of PF amount in the account. In such a situation, neither the PF contribution of the employees nor the companies will go to the account.

Check like this
- Go to the member service portal of EPFO. Click on this link- unifiedportal-mem.epfindia.gov.in/memberinterface/
- Log in to your account by entering your UN and Password.
- After login, click on ‘KYC’ option given under ‘Manage’ tab.
- Under the Verified Documents tab, see which documents are showing as verified. If your
- Aadhaar number is showing in it, then it means that Aadhaar is linked to the UN. If not, then you will have to link Aadhaar with the UN.

What is the process of online linking
You can link your Aadhaar with EPF account in the steps given below-
- Go to EPF website EPFO Member e-SEWA .
- Login by entering your UAN number and password.
- Here go to the ‘KYC’ option, here you will see the ‘Manage’ tab below it, click on it.
- New page will open. Here you have to submit your Aadhaar number and PAN number on Add KYC’. After this you will see your details in the ‘Pending KYC tab’.
- From here EPFO will approve the linking, after which your Aadhaar information will come in the ‘Approved KYC’ tab and thus your Aadhaar will be linked with EPF.
How to link offline
For this you have to go to your nearest EPFO office. Here you have to fill an application form. Now what will have to be done in this, see that-
- Wherever asked in the form, you will have to enter your name, Aadhar number and UAN number.
- Some other details will also be asked, that too will have to be filled.
- After this, you will have to submit photocopies of your PAN card, UAN card (which you can download from the EPF site) and Aadhar card along with this form.
- Once your details are verified, your Aadhaar will be linked with your UAN. This information will be sent to you through a message on the mobile number registered with EPF.
