Aadhar card contains details like your name, date of birth, address and Aadhaar number. Your biometric data is also available on Aadhar card.
From time to time, the Unique Identification Authority of India (UIDAI), the issuing body of Aadhaar number, asks people using Aadhaar card to update all the information including mobile number. In this way you can update mobile number in Aadhar card.
Many times people lose their mobile number or the number gets switched off. If you have taken a new mobile number, you can update it in the UIDAI database. To change the mobile number in the Aadhar card, one has to first go to the nearest Aadhar center.
>> First of all go to nearest Aadhar center.
>> Fill the Aadhar Update Form.
>> Submit the form to Aadhar Executive.
>> For this you will have to pay a charge of Rs 50.
>> Aadhar Executive will give an acknowledgment receipt containing the Update Request Number (URN). You can check the status of the update through the URN number.
>> The mobile number in the UIDAI database will be updated within 90 days.
