UIDAI is considering to provide the facility of making Aadhar card in hospitals only. For this, he is working on a plan with the birth registrar. The objective of UIDAI is to provide Aadhaar card at the time of birth to about 2.5 crore children born daily in the country.

UIDAI is now considering to provide facility to make Aadhar card for newborn children in hospitals itself. At present, the facility of making Aadhar card of the child is not available in the hospitals. Aadhar card of the child has to be made from the discharge slip of the hospital. For this, you have to go to the Aadhar center.
Now UIDAI plans to give complete Aadhar card to the child along with birth, in which biometrics are also completed. For this, UIDAI is working with the Birth Registrar to provide this facility in hospitals (Aadhaar in Hospitals). When this facility is started in the hospital itself, people will get a lot of help and the child’s Aadhar card will be made easily.

2.5 crore babies are born daily

UIDAI CEO Saurabh Garg says that about 25 million babies are born every day in India. In such a situation, UIDAI plans that after taking photographs of the children born in the hospital, the Aadhar card will be issued simultaneously. This will greatly facilitate the parents of the child and will save their time. UIDAI will work closely with the berth registrar for this scheme and talks are on for this and a big decision can be taken on this issue soon. Let us tell you that at present biometrics is not required for Aadhaar of children below 5 years of age, but when their age is more than 5 years, then it becomes mandatory to get their biometrics done.

Aadhaar will also be made in regional languages

UIDAI CEO Saurabh said that now Aadhar card will be made in regional language also. He said that it is worth mentioning that in the country, information is given in Hindi and English only on the Aadhar card, but now it will be available in other regional languages ​​as well. Soon, the card holder’s name and other details will be visible on the Aadhaar card in all regional languages ​​like Punjabi, Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, Kannada, Oriya, Marathi.
