How subsidy was given away
In order to give direct benefit of gas subsidy to LPG customers, the government had linked their gas connection to bank account and Aadhaar card. How will the subsidy start again
To resume LPG subsidy, customers need to go to their gas agency and submit an application. With this application, an ID proof, address proof, gas connection papers and a copy of income proof will also have to be given. To receive subsidy, the annual income should be up to Rs 10 lakh or less. The gas agency will also get customers to fill a form. After this, an investigation will be done by the agency and the subsidy will be reinstated within about a week.

Consumers should contact their nearest gas dealership or their gas agency for complete information about LPG subsidy. There, the consumer will get detailed information about the entire process, including the necessary documents, so that it will be easy to get the subsidy again.
