Under this, Noel has been appointed the head of the two most important charitable institutions of the Tata Group, Sir Ratan Tata Trust and Sir Dorabji Tata Trust. He was earlier involved in these institutions as a trustee. Now he has been appointed as the chairman of Tata Trust. Ratan Tata played an important role in forming Tata Trust. Tata Trust has a large stake in Tata Group’s holding company TATA Sons. It has a stake of about 66 percent. Tata Group is run under the Tata Trust. This trust works to oversee philanthropic initiatives and governance.
Noel became the 11th and 6th chairman
Noel Tata has studied from Sussex University, UK and International Executive Program (IEP) at INSEAD. Noel is known for his strategic skills and commitment to the group’s vision. Noel Tata has been elected as the 11th chairman of Sir Dorabji Tata Trust and the 6th chairman of Sir Ratan Tata Trust.
He performs these responsibilities in Tata Group

At the same time, for the last few years, he is also the chairman of Tata International Limited. He has a long history of four decades with the Tata Group. He has worked in key positions in companies like Trent, Voltas and Tata Investment Corporation. Not only this, he serves as the Vice President of Tata Steel and Titan Company Limited. Apart from this, he also has deep ties with the Tata ecosystem.

Made the company from $ 500 million to $ 3 billion
During his tenure as Managing Director of Tata International Limited, he has played a key role in increasing the company’s revenue from $ 500 million to over $ 3 billion between 2010 and 2021. Trent Limited Company had just a single retail store in the year 1998, which today has turned into a strong network with more than 700 stores across India under his leadership.
Was once elected as the Chairman of Tata Sons
Noel was earlier elected to the post of Chairman of Tata Sons, but later this post was given to his brother-in-law Cyrus Mistry. After Mistry’s controversial resignation, N Chandrasekaran took over as the Chairman of Tata Sons. Recent reports have indicated a reconciliation between Noel and Ratan Tata, which is once again increasing the sense of unity in the leadership of the group.
Ratan Tata died on Wednesday night at Mumbai’s Breach Candy Hospital. His last rites were performed yesterday. The entire nation bid him farewell with tearful eyes. Today, during a meeting in Mumbai, his stepbrother Noel Tata was appointed as the chairman of Tata Trust.
