The government company is looking to increase its maintenance, repairing and overhauling capacity. The new recruitments are part of these efforts of the company. Before the proposed recruitment, the total number of employees of the company is around 5000. After the recruitment, their number will increase to around 6000.

AI Engineering Services Limited i.e. AIESL has given an average annual revenue of about Rs 2000 crore during the last 3 years. The company is also focusing on raising funding to expand its capacity. The government is planning to disinvest this company.
