New Delhi India is now among the 10 countries most affected by the corona virus and experts say that more cases are coming up due to increase in testing capacity as well as things like travel restrictions and migrant travel.

Covid-19 cases likely to increase further in coming days

According to Randeep Guleria, director of All India Institute of Age Science (AIIMS), the current increase in cases is coming from most hotspot areas, but more people are expected to increase the number of cases of Kovid-19 in the coming days. “People who are symptomatic or who are in pre-symptomatic condition can go through screening mechanisms to reach places where there are fewer cases,” Guleria said. He said that to prevent the spread of corona virus, the need is to closely monitor the areas where migrants have returned. Guleria also said that as investigation capacity has increased now more cases are also coming up.

There will be a dramatic increase in cases in the next few days

Commenting on the return of migrants to their villages and partial commencement of rail and air travel, Dr. Chandrakant S. S., former president of Indian Public Health Association and Indian Association of Preventive and Social Medicine. Pandava said that the doors have opened for the spread of the corona virus. He said, ‘This is a clear example of the Corona virus causing an atmosphere to spread like wildfire. In the next few days, there will be a dramatic increase in cases. While it is true that the lockdown cannot last forever, the beginning should have happened in a very rigorous manner.

Will go beyond two lakhs in next 10 days

Former President of the Indian Medical Association, Dr. KK Aggarwal said that if the migrants continue to return without proper distance among themselves, then there will be further increase in cases of infection in the coming days. He said, ‘In the next 10 days, cases will go beyond two lakhs. The increase in cases before the end of the third lockdown and the continuing increase in cases in the fourth lockdown is evidence that people are not necessarily following the physical distance rules. ‘

Aggarwal said, “Even in the last week of May when there is scorching heat, the increase in cases means that the spread of infection from human to human is more important than the spread from surface to human. Generally, the spread from surface to human in the heat should have been reduced and new cases should have reduced by half, which did not happen. ‘
