Air Fare Hike in Festive Season: Festive season is going to start in India in the next few days. During the festive season, people go to their homes in large numbers. In such a situation, there is a huge increase in the number of people traveling by air from within the country and abroad.
In such a situation, there is an increase in demand for flights on major international routes. This year too, demand is likely to increase during festivals and winter holidays, but due to the Go First crisis, air fares are expected to increase.
According to the Economic Times report, experts say that due to the financial crisis, despite the fixed quota, Go First has not got permission to fly on international routes due to a ban from the court. In such a situation, its impact will be visible on the number of flights and air fares are likely to become expensive.
These routes may be affected
The thing to note is that how many flights will operate between which countries is decided between the governments of the two countries. In such a situation, the government sets a quota for all the airlines due to which those airlines are not allowed to operate more flights.
Before Go First started the bankruptcy process, the company had acquired operating rights for countries like Thailand, Abu Dhabi, Singapore and Oman. 8000 seats were allotted to Go First, 3000 to Malaysia, 9000 to Abu Dhabi and a total of 1200 seats were allotted to Singapore.
There may be an increase in rent
According to many experts related to the aviation sector, for a long time many airlines companies have been requesting the government to distribute the flight rights of Go First quota among different companies, but at present the government has not taken any decision on this. .
In such a situation, there is a possibility of increase in air fares due to increase in demand during the coming festive season, Cricket World Cup 2023 to be held in India and Christmas and New Year holidays.
