This fine has been imposed due to non-compliance with the standards related to providing necessary facilities to the passengers. This is the second time this has happened in the last 1.5 years. A show cause notice was issued to Air India on 3 November 2023.

Let us tell you that in this notice it was said about non-compliance of the provisions of the related rules. In this context, a show cause notice was also issued to Air India by the regulator on November 3.
