Salary will increase from September 1
Tata Group had acquired Air India in the same year 2022. Apart from this, Air India has also decided to make changes in the allowances and food arrangements of the crew members from September 1. Air India CEO and Managing Director (CEO and MD) Campbell Wilson has mailed to the employees of Air India and informed that the reduction in salary will stop from September 1, 2022. He told that due to the Kovid-19 epidemic, the situation of the airline had become very bad. Due to this the company had to take many steps including salary cut.
Indigo was in trouble due to open hiring
People’s attitude towards the airline seems to have changed since Air India’s command came into the hands of the Tata Group. In the first week of July, the company did open hiring of crew members. In which many airlines including Indigo went to participate. Because of which suddenly the employees of many companies went on leave. For this reason, on July 2, about 50% of Indigo flights were delayed.
Tata Group is increasing convenience
The company had also given the facility of medical insurance to the employees in May. Employees are getting sum insured of Rs 7.5 lakh in the insurance facility available from May 15. In this, a maximum of 7 members of the family of the employee can be included. In the month of June, Air India had also offered to re-hire retired pilots. These retired pilots were offered to work for five years by the airline.
