Tata Group company Air India has announced an increase in the salary of its employees. The company will also give bonus to the employee. The company has started the appraisal process for increase in salary. This is the first appraisal process after the acquisition of Tata Group. Let us tell you that there are approximately 18000 employees in Air India.
Air India on Thursday announced the annual salary increase for its employees. Also announced performance bonus payment for the financial year 2023-24 based on company and individual performance.
The company’s CHRO Ravindra Kumar said the company is in the process of revitalizing itself under a five-year transformation plan. Also providing competitive salary increases as part of talent incentives as part of performance, operations and competency based efforts among employees.
This is the first appraisal process after Tata Group acquired the loss-making aviation giant two years ago.
Air India has approximately 18,000 employees. The airline has started annual appraisal for all employees who joined before December 31, 2023, including ground staff, cabin crew and pilots. Appraisals are based on the new performance management system.
