Air India New Flight: From January 25 to January 31, Air India’s Delhi-Prayagraj flight will depart from Delhi at 14:10 and reach Prayagraj at 15:20. The return flight will take off from Prayagraj at 16:00 and reach Delhi at 17:10.
Delhi to Prayagraj Flight: Tata Group airline Air India on Tuesday announced that it will operate daily flights between Delhi and Prayagraj. The reason for this is the increased demand at the domestic and international level due to the world’s largest spiritual gathering Maha Kumbh 2025. Air India will operate flights on this route between January 25 and February 28.
The airline said in a statement that with these flights, Air India is the only full service airline to operate on this route. The company is providing two options of premium cabin and economy class to the passengers for travel.
Will depart from Delhi at 02:10 pm
According to the airline, from January 25 to January 31, Air India’s Delhi-Prayagraj flight will depart from Delhi at 14:10 and reach Prayagraj at 15:20. The return flight will take off from Prayagraj at 16:00 and reach Delhi at 17:10.
Air India’s schedule will change from February 1 to February 28, with the flight departing from Delhi at 13:00 and arriving at Prayagraj at 14:10. The return flight will take off from Prayagraj at 14:50 and reach Delhi at 16:00.
How to book tickets
The airline further said that booking for the flight is being gradually started on all channels including Air India’s website, mobile app and travel agents. Alok Bajpai, Group CEO of ixigo, said, Prayagraj is now connected to more than 20 destinations through direct and one-stop flights.
In the last Kumbh, Prayagraj had air connectivity only from Delhi. Flight services are playing an important role in ferrying pilgrims to this year’s fair. Flight bookings to Prayagraj on ixigo have increased by 162 percent year-on-year, while bookings at nearby airports like Varanasi and Lucknow have seen a growth of 127 and 42 percent respectively.
